mineralogical societies or groups are members of IMA.
. The Association
supports the activities of Commissions and Working
Groups involved on certain aspects of mineralogical practice and facilitates
intercourse among mineralogists by sponsoring and organising meetings.

to IUGS, the International Union of Geological
